Everglades National Park

This unique landscape provides a shelter for a lot of mysterious and wild animals. In this environment find species from the Caribbean and North America alike their natural habitat. Living side by side appears very smooth by watching the wildlife up close. The Everglades is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States and a refuge for many different birds.

Water plays a main factor in the Everglades and labyrinths of waterways, uncountable islands and sawgrass blades form this distinctive landscape.

The most famous animal is by far the American Alligator. But also a lot of different other species as White and brown pelicans, Great blue heron, Great egret, Purple Gallinule, Water moccasin, Turkey Vulture, just to mention a few, share this beautiful part of South Florida.
